We're Emma and Bob and we're volunteers at SQLBits, a data conference like no other described by its attendees as 'the best data community event in the world'.

We're setting out on a journey to dig deeper into the lives of the wonderful people who speak at, organise and attend SQLBits, and more widely, how the connections they've made along the way have shaped their careers and ultimately their lives.

In other words, we interview the data community as a part of the data community.

We explore different people, perspectives, and passions within the SQLBits and general data community. Talking and exploring people's journeys and getting to know the people behind the public speaking we listen to and learn from.
